Veneers are cut from tree trunks that are clearest of branches, thus avoiding large knots and blemishes. They can be laid next to each other to produce seamless joins, which is not possible with solid wood. Using veneers is more environmentally ethical than using solid wood as there is only a tiny fraction of the timber required for each piece. We ensure that our veneers come from well-managed forests. Wood is a natural and wonderful material; no two pieces are the same and this adds to the uniqueness and beauty of your furniture. It must be appreciated that natural grain patterns, sap and resin markings will vary from tree to tree. While we make every effort to match all products, it must be accepted and appreciated that, by using real wood, there will always be a variance in appearance of grain and markings.
