1. Introduction

These terms and conditions govern your use of the VK Timber & Building Materials Limited website (vktimber.co.uk) and any purchases made through it. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Orders and Pricing

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. Prices displayed on the website are subject to change without notice. We make every effort to ensure prices are accurate, but errors may occur.

• We will notify you as soon as possible after your order is placed.
• You may choose to accept the corrected price or cancel your order free of charge.
• If we are unable to contact you, or you do not respond within 7 days, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund any payment already made.
• We will not be liable for pricing errors beyond the refund of any amount you have paid.

3. Cancellation by You

You may cancel an order at any time before it has been dispatched. To cancel, contact us immediately at sales@vktimber.co.uk or call 0141 646 5888 during opening hours. If your order has already been dispatched, please refer to our Returns Policy.

4. Cancellation by Us

We reserve the right to cancel an order if:

• A pricing error has occurred (as described above).
• The goods are out of stock or unavailable.
• We are unable to verify your payment details.
• There is reason to believe the order is fraudulent.

5. Delivery

Delivery charges and timescales are displayed at checkout. We aim to deliver within the stated timeframe but delays may occur. If your order is significantly delayed, we will contact you. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers or events outside our control.

7. Payment

We accept payment via Worldpay. Payment is taken at the point of order confirmation. All prices include VAT where applicable.

8. Trade Accounts

Trade account customers are subject to separate credit terms agreed at account setup. Trade account orders are invoiced and payable according to the agreed terms. Standard website terms apply unless overridden by your trade account agreement.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any single order is limited to the value of the goods ordered. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
