Covid-19 Service Update


In order to keep industry moving we now have a new set of responsible working practices in place that will allow us to resume our Click and Collect service as well as offering kerbside deliveries whilst maintaining strict social distancing measures. The guidelines below detail the service we will be operating from 20/04/2020. These measures will ensure the safety of not only yourself but also of our staff.

Our trade counter and showroom will remain closed until further notice.

Due to backlog of emails we are not unfortunately accepting incoming calls until further notice to enable the team to catch up with an unprecedented level of enquiries.

If you need to make contact with us at all you can email your enquiry to sales@vktimber.co.uk and you have our assurance we will endeavour to come back to you as soon as possible.

PLEASE DO NOT VISIT THE BRANCH UNLESS YOU ARE UPLIFTING AN ONLINE COLLECTION AND HAVE BEEN ALLOCATED A TIME TO DO SO.

THE FOLLOWING PROCESS WILL NOW BE TAKEN ON ALL COLLECTIONS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE:

TUESDAY 09/06//20 - UPDATE!!! WE HAVE TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED ANY FURTHER ONLINE COLLECTIONS TO ALLOW THE TEAM TO CATCH UP.

WE WILL REVIEW THIS SITUATION ON MONDAY 22/06/2020 AND KEEP YOU UPDATED

IF YOU HAVE ALREADY PLACED AN ORDER FOR COLLECTION WE WILL BE IN TOUCH AS QUICK AS WE POSSIBLY CAN TO ARRANGE A TIME TO UPLIFT YOUR GOODS.

1. Place your order online at www.vktimber.co.uk

2. You will receive receive an email from WorldPay confirming your payment and an email from websales@vktimber.co.uk confirming your order.

3. The branch will call you within 72 working hours (excluding weekends) and advise a suitable time to collect your goods.

4. Please allow minimum 72 working hours for all Click and Collect Orders to enable the team to have orders ready and ensure a smooth, safe service.

5. Please be punctual with regards your collection time. We are aiming to give each customer a 15 minute window but vehicles still have to be loaded within that period.

6. When you arrive, park your vehicle in one of the designated click and collect bays. Please do not leave your vehicle, a member of staff will approach your vehicle to confirm your order.

7. Your items will be brought to your vehicle. Please do not exit your vehicle until our staff have cleared the area and the blue yard gates are closed.

8. Once you have loaded your vehicle your good to go.

2. You will receive receive an email from WorldPay confirming your payment and an email from websales@vktimber.co.uk confirming your order.

3. The branch will call you within 72 working hours (excluding weekends) and confirm receipt of your order and advise an anticipated delivery date.

4. Due to the current situation, please allow at least 7 to 10 working days for your delivery.

5. The branch will call you 24 hours before the anticipated delivery date to confirm we are still on schedule.

6. When our driver arrives, please do not approach him. Delivery is to kerbside only.

7. Once our driver is back in his vehicle you can check your order and take the goods into your property. We are no longer asking customers to physically sign for deliveries.
